From our experience and study of the financial markets, FG&G Financial Services, LLC deeply believes in an approach to investing based on the academic disciplines of economics and finance generally referred to as Passive Investing.

Passive asset class investing is rooted in a strategy that is based on more than 50 years of research by top academic researchers studying the world’s markets and arriving at one critical conclusion: Passive asset class in­vesting historically outperforms the active selection of individual securities or actively managed mutual funds and can also be offered at lower cost and lower risk to our clients.

We do not subscribe or advocate attempting to beat the market by identifying mis-priced securities (stock picking) or forecasting the direction of the market (market timing). Our study of investing indicates there is evidence that such pursuits are not expected to add value to a portfolio commensurate with the costs involved.
